From DreamWorks Animation comes a new adaptation of a literary sensation, Peter Brown’s beloved, award-winning, #1 New York Times bestseller, The Wild Robot.
The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
Peter Brown’s The Wild Robot, an illustrated middle-grade novel first published in 2016, became a phenomenon, rocketing to #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. The book has since inspired a trilogy that now includes The Wild Robot Escapes and The Wild Robot Protects. Brown’s work on the Wild Robot series and his other bestselling books have earned him a Caldecott Honor, a Horn Book Award, two E.B. White Awards, two E.B. White Honors, a Children’s Choice Award for Illustrator of the Year, two Irma Black Honors, a Golden Kite Award and a New York Times Best Illustrated Book Award.

Following our highly successful summer tour of The Importance Of Being Earnest, Rain or Shine Theatre Company is touring ‘Murder Most Wilde’ in winter 2024, a new adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s comic and quirky tale “Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime”, a delightfully silly Victorian comedy chock full of muddled murder attempts and comic confusion.
Meet Lord Arthur Savile – he has riches, the best of health, complete happiness and is engaged to marry his beautiful fiancé Sybil in just three weeks’ time. But his future mother-in-law invites a fortune teller who reads his palm, exclaiming “I see blood on your hand”. The scene is set! Lord Arthur now believes he is destined to commit a murder, and to avoid any intrigue or inconvenience to his bride to be, he decides to perform the dastardly deed before the wedding takes place. With murder in the offing, his hilarious attempts to avert disaster are more hindered than helped by various servants …. assorted relatives …. passing anarchists …. and a strong sense of upstanding Victorian duty.
Which method will Lord Arthur choose, to whom? and will he succeed?

After three death-defying adventures defeating world-class villains with his unmatched courage and mad martial arts skills, Po, the Dragon Warrior (Golden Globe nominee Jack Black), is called upon by destiny to … give it a rest already. That poses a couple of obvious problems. First, Po knows as much about spiritual leadership as he does about the paleo diet, and second, he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new lofty position.
Even worse, there’s been a recent sighting of a wicked, powerful sorceress, Chameleon (Oscar® winner Viola Davis), a tiny lizard who can shapeshift into any creature, large or small. Explore the enchanting history of the Victorian circus that once visited Tenbury through thrilling stories and basic circus skills. Learn about the elephant with a toothache that famously visited a chemist on Teme Street and the mysterious midnight lions housed near Berrington Green.

12-15 August (Mon-Thurs): Circus Summer School – The Mystery of the Midnight Lions
Under the guidance of professional circus and drama practitioners, children aged 6-12 will develop new skills and put together an end-of-week presentation for parents. The adventure includes educational visits to the local museum to enrich the storytelling experience and film screenings on the big screen, all included within the price.
Classes run from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and are priced at £100 per week. Individual days are available at £25 per day.

Into this muddled mayhem dash two young couples arguing about who loves who, and a hapless bunch of amateur actors seeking a place to secretly rehearse their play. No wonder there is so much confusion.... and hilarity!
