Disability Access

Getting Here

There is step free access to our licensed tea rooms, and our daytime box office.

There are seven steps from the street into the upper foyer and evening boxoffice kiosk. Handrails are available on either side of the entrance. There is also a modern open lift that can accommodate anyone with mobility problems, a wheelchair, a mobility scooter or a pushchair.

Booking Tickets

For booking, more information and help with your requirements, please contact our box office on 01584 811442. To ensure the best choice of seats, we advise you to book in advance. Concessions are available for disabled patrons – please ask for details when booking and mention if you require an aisle seat, a seat near the front or if you have any other specific needs. All concessions are limited and subject to availability.

Refreshments

Please ask a member of staff if you would like to order refreshments to be brought to you either before the performance or during the interval. It is also possible to order refreshments to be brought to some seats during films and live screen events.

Wheelchair Users

There is a space for wheelchair users in the auditorium level with the upper foyer. Please inform the box office at the time of booking if you require a wheelchair space. A support companion for wheelchair users can be admitted free of charge to most performances, but these tickets must be booked in advance with the box office. When you arrive at the Theatre, please make yourself known to a member of the front-of-house team (there’s always someone at the main entrance from at least an 30 minutes before the performance). There is an adapted toilet accessed directly from the upper foyer. There is a disabled parking bay available on Teme Street and a further four spaces in the car park behind the library.

In the Auditorium

There are a total of eight steps from the foyer to the front stalls.  Each step has a white nosing. The wheelchair spaces are at the same level as the foyer.
