There is already a group of energetic enthusiasts determined to capitalise on the refurbishment, but they cannot do it alone.
With new digital cinema equipment, a permanent Box Office, live streamed events, performances from touring theatre companies and classes in Drama, Art and Dance at the adjacent Community centre - all this, in addition to the local amateur productions, music and comedy nights - it is easy to see why the Trust needs more help.
Volunteers can be sixteen, drawing a pension, or anywhere in between.
Volunteers are needed back stage, in sound &, lighting, front of house, in administration, marketing & promotion, education & learning, fund raising, programming, the box office, in fact there should be something to suit just about everyone.
For more information contact 01584 819 998 or collect a volunteer form from the library or the Pump Rooms.
One of the simplest ways to help us raise funds is to join our 100 Club.
The 100 Club is a monthly lottery where the income is split between the prize fund and the Regal Trust.
Ask about joining at the Box Office, or click here to join online.
Our most successful fund raising method is our dedicate a seat campaign.
In return for your donation of £250 the Trust will fix an engraved brass plaque to one of the auditorium seats which will remain in place for 10 years.
You could share a dedication with a friend or members of your family, or you might want to dedicate a seat to:
- Acknowledge a special date or other occasion
- Dedicate to a friend, colleague or family member
- Be a part of the renovation
- Raise awareness of your community group or business
Collect a form from the Box Office or various businesses in town.
Run an event.
You could run an event to raise funds for us, or to raise funds for your organisation and ours.
Considerable support is available should you choose to instigate and run your own event to help raise funds. Just get in touch.
